Billy P. Lynn, MD
graduated as a Phi Beta Kappa from Davidson College in 1975 prior to receiving his
M.D. degree in 1981 at the Medical College of Georgia. He subsequently completed a
six-year internship and residency in General Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia.
Following that, he served as an assistant professor of surgery at the VA Medical Center
also in Augusta, Georgia.
He received his board certification from the American Board of Surgery in 1988. He
completed two years of training as a resident in Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of
Georgia in 1990.
He culminated his training with an aesthetic fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and
Throat Hospital in affiliation with New York University, completing this in December
1990. Dr. Lynn served as a resident instructor during his final months at the Manhattan
Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
Dr. Lynn was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1995 and became a
fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1997.
