He graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he was on the Dean's List, a Notre Dame Scholar and member of Alpha Epsilon Delta. He completed his medical school at the University of South Carolina and his General Surgery Residency at the Medical College of Georgia.
After a 2 year plastic surgery fellowship was completed at the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Ewart joined Augusta Plastic Surgery in 2005. He currently resides in the Columbia County Evans Area.
He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Georgia.
He is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ewart's memberships include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Medical Association of Georgia, and the American Medical Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He has traveled both nationally and internationally to major plastic and reconstructive surgical meetings to present innovative techniques. His research has been published in major surgical journals.
He specializes in breast enhancement and breast lifts including the transumbilical breast augmentation.
Other specializations include face lifts, eyelid surgery, tummy tucks, liposuction, Botox, dermal fillers, rhinoplasty and breast reconstruction after cancer.
