Brow lift recovery is generally moderate, especially with the endoscopic technique. Most patients are pleasantly surprised by how manageable it is.

Days 1-3: Immediate Post-Op

  • Head wrap or bandage for 24-48 hours
  • Forehead and periorbital swelling — often extends to the eyelids
  • Headache-like tightness, controlled with medication
  • Numbness across the forehead is expected and normal
  • Sleep with head elevated at 30+ degrees

Week 1: Early Recovery

Sutures or staples removed at days 7-10. Don’t be alarmed if bruising appears around the eyes — gravity pulls forehead swelling downward.

Weeks 2-3: Social Recovery

Most visible swelling and bruising resolved. Patients typically return to work at 10-14 days. Incision sites within the hairline are well-hidden.

Weeks 4-8: Progressive Healing

Sensation gradually returns (tingling and itching are good signs). Full exercise resumes at week 4-6.

Months 3-12: Final Results

Final brow position achieved by month 3. Scars within the hairline become virtually invisible. Results typically last 10-15 years.
